Relationships

Hi! Today's post is about relationships. When I say relationships, I mean all kinds of relationships. Your relationship with Christ, your relationship with your boyfriend (or girlfriend, if you're a guy), the relationships you share with your friends and family. The relationships in your life could be good or bad. You could have a best friend who is your most trusted person on earth, a mean girl who walks all over you and treats you like dirt, a guy that likes you (and you have mutual feelings), an ex that tears you down. All of the people you interact with in life have some kind of relationship with you. A lot of the time though, these relationships take over the most important Relationship. Without realizing it, you might be putting a relationship in the center of your world, neglecting the one you have with God. By texting the other person more than you read your Bible, hanging out with someone instead of going to a worship night at church. Sometimes, you change your priorities and don't even realize it. That doesn't make you a bad person at all, but when you realize that you're putting certain people over God or even your family and not doing anything about it is when you have a problem.

So, check the relationships in your life. Are they at a healthy level? I'm not saying that you can't have a best friend, or that you can't be super close to someone, just remember that, in everything, God should always come first.

I hope you have an amazing week, and that God is blessing your life tremendously! Also, with school right around the corner, don't get stressed! I understand if you are, because I was, too, but don't sweat it, you can do anything. Why? Because nothing (not even acing a test, or standing up to the bully that's been torturing you since third grade) is impossible with God. :)

Love,
Alicia
